The holster can be mounted higher up, making it Single Stack legal if you desire.

This is just the holster hanger. Supply your own pouch. This is compatible with Blade Tech, GX Holster, LS Holsters, Weber Tactical and Comp Tac stuff.

What are the differences in the Belt Mount Options?

What are the differences in the Belt Mount Options?

We offer a few options for belt mounts on the Boss holster. The standard aluminum belt plate will come with all of the holsters regardless if you choose one of the options mounts. Something to consider if you go with a non-standard belt mount you may want to go with a shorter Offset Spacer like the 1/4" to stay withing the USPSA rules.

The Boss Standard Belt Mount is included with all orders.

This belt plate is cut for a standard 1.5" competition belt (DAA, CR Speed, Ghost).

The spacing between the screws will accommodate a 1.75" belt.

boss-tek-lok-medium.png

The Blade-Tech Tek-Lok Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option.

These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount.

boss-plm-medium.png

The Comp-Tac PLM Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option.

These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount

boss-qls-medium.png

The Safariland QLS Belt Mount work with the QLS Receiver.

You can quickly swap holsters when using the Safariland QLS system. This option includes the fork only.

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount

Which Offset length should I choose?

This refers to the length of the spacers between the long Boss plate and the Y-Plate that attaches to the holster. The 1/2" spacers are a pretty safe bet for most firearms out there to keep you within the rules for USPSA.

If you go with one of the options mounts (Tek-Lok, PLM, ELS) we would recommend choosing the 1/2" spacers to keep your holster within the rules for USPSA.

We have seen the 3/4" work well for most models, and may work with Tek-Lok & PLM mounts.

We have found the 1" spacers to work with most models but you should measure your setup to insure it falls within the USPSA rules.

You can always just buy the Spacer Hardware Kit here and try the other options.

How to do mount a Safariland QLS Fork or Receiver?

The versatile Boss Holster Hanger is designed to offer multiple mounting options for the Safariland QLS system. It facilitates the attachment of the Safariland QLS Fork to the long plate that is included in the kit, thereby eliminating the need for any additional parts or unique configurations.

For those seeking a flexible mounting solution that allows for easy swapping of holsters while keeping the hanger firmly attached to your belt, we offer the Safariland Y-Plate option. With this, you can conveniently mount the Safariland QLS Receiver to the Y-Plate, as demonstrated in the photographs below.

This powerful combination of utility and adaptability makes the Boss Holster Hanger an essential tool for enhancing your holster mounting experience.

Best drop offset mount out there

Posted by XAVIER FAJARDO on Jul 28th 2020

I have tried a few other brand before. This is the only one that will actually keep the holster straight up. All the other I've tried, let the holster tilt outward if using a steel frame gun

The boss hanger is the perfect solution to be able to clear your hand on the draw. Very well designed. Not to mention they are a huge help, easy to get a hold of and have fast shipping.

    Works great with Safariland rig

Posted by Unknown on Jul 20th 2020

This is an excellent product. Replaced a safariland drop offset to get into USPSA production requirements. Works great, within spec, and better (more adjustable and solid) than the original safari land stuff.

Great product for a fair price. I have found this to be one of the sturdiest drop offset hangers out there.

This is my second and I recommend them

The hanger is well-built and as adjustable as I can imagine. I now have one for my M&P rig and another for my 1911 rig.

    Great Product

Posted by Jordan Pratt on Apr 26th 2020

The BOSS Hanger is a great way to lower and move the position of a holster away from the body. This allows for a more comfortable purchase on the gun when going in for a draw. The BOSS Hanger fit well to my Blade-Tech holster and sits comfortably when work on the belt.

Completely configurable, and very secure lockup - looks good to boot. It's definitely my favorite hanger on the market (this is my third!)

Great customer service and great product

Posted by Holdon Perez on Feb 17th 2020

I shoot a Walther Q5 and have multiple holsters on the Safariland QLS mount. It is solid and well built and the best way I see to mount a Safariland pattern to a competition belt. I asked a question and got a fast response back.

    Excellent, comfortable hanger

I replaced a cheap knockoff hanger with the BOSS on my SS and Production rigs. This is a comfortable hanger and will improve your draw!
