These are precision made from premium grade music wire offering extended life and quality control from the factory springs that are supplied with the guns. The Tanfoglio Optimized Firing Pin Spring are currently the lightest spring rate on the market and work in conjunction with our lighter hammer springs with out the need to cut or clip coils. It remains roughly the same overall length as the factory spring while limiting the distance the firing pin can travel to prevent it from becoming stuck in the breach hole on the slide. If the need should arise that coils need to be cut it still offers plenty of length to do so.
