Product Description

Springer Precision CZ SP-01 & Shadow 2 140mm Base Pads

Springer Precision CZ75 EZ 140mm base pads for the Mecgar 17 round magazines. Our extended capacity base pads are CNC machined from aluminum and hard anodized for a long service life. This lengthens the magazine and adds rounds to your magazine.  The unique locking mechanism allows a very solid attachment with a simple backing out of the discrete set screw.

  • We include a .050 hex driver that makes installation and removal a breeze.
  • Weighs 1.40 Ounces
  • Holds 20 Reloadable, 21 Non-Reloadable with Included Spring
  • Holds 22 Relkoadable with Grams Spring and Follower Kit
  • They fit the USPSA 140mm magazine gauge.

**Disclaimer: As with all competition geared changes, always make sure you test and check your gear before you take it to a competition setting.  With 140mm/170mm magazine configurations especially, check the magazine in a USPSA 140mm/170mm gauge to make sure it fits.  With mass produced items like magazines, sometimes they can vary slightly from one to the next, often in the magazine lips that connect with the magazine extension/basepad.

Due to design variations, Springer Precision cannot guarantee compatibility with any other manufacturer’s aftermarket magwell, unless otherwise specified. Please call us with any questions.

Springer Precision has indicated that some fitment maybe required on the magazine to make the basepad fit. This may mean simply sanding on the bottom of the magazine.

  1. Works like a charm

Posted by Mark Gardner on May 14th 2019

I got these base pads and found I could get 22, 9mm or 16, 40 S&W in my Mecgar magazines with the 11 coil springs. So far they are 100%.
The only drawback is that they sent STI followers which are about .1" too long so I cut some off both ends to get them to fit. A few minutes work with a file was well worth it.
