CZ Shadow 2 Checkered Grips by Henning
Our checkered, contoured grips are ergonomically contoured to fit your hands. They are thoughtfully machined to fit tight in your pistol frame. The checkered pattern is VERY GRIPPY and COMFORTABLE. Gives you a great hold on the gun.
Grip sets are made of 6061 aluminum and offered in BLACK, RED, BLUE and ORANGE. Includes set of Henning Low Profile Torx Grip Screws made out of heat treated 416 stainless steel.
These grips have a full contour shape to fit the palm of your hands. At the widest point they provide a .175" thicker grip than the factory Shadow 2 checkered grips. Because they are contoured they do not feel "thick", but actually provides a natural feel to your gun. It is relieved so it's easy to reach the mag release button as well as the trigger. Fits people with a wide range of hand sizes. They are made specifically to fit the shape of the Shadow II frame, they also look and feel great on the SP-01 Tactical and SP-01 Shadow.
We offer them in two configurations:
Smooth surface in the area for your trigger finger and magazine release relief.
Fully checkered along the complete area of the grips.
The argument for having a fully checkered grip is to get additional gripping surface for your support hand where the thumb pad of your hand touches the grip. The opposite argument is to have a smooth surface to slide your thumb freely. Personal preference choice.

Awesome grips
These are a massive improvement over the OEM grips. They have a super grippy texture and the way they are contoured makes it much easier to reach the mag release without breaking the grip, which I used to have to do with the stock SP-01 grips.

Best grips for the Shadow 2
These are absolutely perfect grips for the Shadow 2. The texture and friction is amazing, and provides just enough contouring to feel like a 2011. I previously ran the VZ Diamondbacks in G10, and these blow the VZs out out of the water in terms of traction and feel. Would absolutely recommend putting these on your S2.

Best CZ Grips
I wanted to buy the Henning grips first but went for the LOK Palm Swell grips because the price was attractive compared to the Henning’s. The LOK’s didn’t fit my hands very well as I take a high grip with the beaver tail of a CZ Shadow 2 pressing into the web of the hand between the index finger and thumb. The top ridge of the LOK grip pressed directly into the middle of my index finger joint on the palm side of my hand when taking a hard grip on the gun. I was disappointed the LOK’s didn’t fit my hand as they were rated highly by most who have bought them. I then ordered the Henning’s. The way that palm is swelled and the top of the grips are swept inward towards the frame of the Gun fits my hands perfectly. And the grip texture is pretty good as well, aggressive. This a finely machined set of grips and complement the look of the CZ as well. After a few dry fire sessions later, I realized I should have went with my first instinct and went with the Henning’s. It seems they will do well to grip my hands on hot, sweaty days during big mid-summer USPSA matches. I’ll be getting a second set for the backup CZ Shadow 2 as well.
