Ben Stoeger Pro Shop stocks Glock magazines from factory OEM tubes to full competition builds — steel-bodied Mec-Gar tubes, extended-capacity setups for USPSA and IPSC, and everything needed to keep a match bag full.
Factory Glock magazines use a polymer-wrapped steel liner and are famously reliable. For competition, many shooters move to Mec-Gar steel tubes, which have thinner walls — that extra internal room is what allows higher round counts with the same external length, and the steel body adds a little weight low in the grip. Steel tubes are the standard starting point for a 140mm competition magazine build.
Advertised capacities assume a properly broken-in magazine. Load and unload a new magazine fully several times before a match, and expect to need a loader to reach maximum capacity.
A competition Glock magazine is usually three parts: the tube, an extended basepad, and a follower and spring kit matched to it. We stock basepads from Henning, Taylor Freelance and Springer Precision, and follower/spring kits from CSRG built for Mec-Gar tubes.
Not every basepad fits every tube. If you're putting a setup together for the first time, check the fitment notes on the individual product pages or give us a call — our team runs this equipment at matches.
Magazine capacity restrictions vary by state and in some cases by city. It is the buyer's responsibility to know and follow the laws where they live before ordering. See our shipping policy for details on restricted destinations.
