Very popular music wire 11.5# hammer spring color coded “black”. Must be used with our reduced power firing pin spring, part number 97045.
TECH TIP: Never change the hammer spring only or mis-fires are certain. You must balance your springs for reliable ignition. The CGW reduced power firing pin spring is the perfect match for our HS-12000.
NOTE: HS-12000 is a competition spring and is not recommended for any self-defense application. HS-12000 is deigned to be used with Federal and Winchester primers, other brands of primers may not run 100%. We suggest you thoroughly range test this spring with other primers to verify reliable ignition.

Love this spring
I run this spring in a few CZs and have had 100% primer ignition after many (15k+) rounds. It helps the DA trigger tremendously, and is a great upgrade.

Big difference small coin
Installed in a P120 to replace a 13lb, DA went from 8lb 5oz to 6lb 4oz, SA is 3lb. 500 rounds of WSPs zero light strikes. Pretty happy with it.

Transformative and cheap!
Dropped this in to my Shadow 2 along with the extended firing pin. The difference is huge! As far as cost-efficient trigger mods go, this one is a must-have upgrade.

Trigger job on a dime
An alternative you can use while saving some money for a real trigger job. Single action went down to 4 1/2 pounds. (Double action not measured). Not a single light strike (make sure to change the fire pin spring for a reduce power spring as well) Not a single light strike or misfire regardless the ammo i was using. (Several commercial brands from US and foreign countries) Highly recommended..

This spring reduced my DA pull by over 1 1/2 lbs and SA by slightly over a 1/2 lb. Well worth it. Have not had any light strike issues.
