The BOSS Dropped & Offset DOH Holster by Ben Stoeger Pro Shop
This holster is called the BOSS for a reason. Here at the Pro Shop, we get pissed off if our stuff isn't quite right. Every other holster on the market has some problem that we found annoying. So we made our own. BOOM.
This set includes the BOSS DOH holster hanger. This hanger is stable yet adjustable. It holds the gun in USPSA legal position and can be mounted higher in order to be Single Stack legal.
This holster also comes with thumb screws as standard.
You can use the Comp-Tac PLM, Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, Safriland ELS, QLS, or the standard BOSS belt mount.
Holster Only!
CZ Tactical Sport option is not for the Orange Model
What are the differences in the Belt Mount Options?
We offer a few options for belt mounts on the Boss holster. The standard aluminum belt plate will come with all of the holsters regardless if you choose one of the options mounts. Something to consider if you go with a non-standard belt mount you may want to go with a shorter Offset Spacer like the 1/4" to stay withing the USPSA rules.
The Boss Standard Belt Mount is included with all orders. This belt plate is cut for a standard 1.5" competition belt (DAA, CR Speed, Ghost). The spacing between the screws will accommodate a 1.75" belt. |
The Blade-Tech Tek-Lok Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option. These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount. |
The Comp-Tac PLM Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option. These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount |
The Safariland QLS Belt Mount work with the QLS Receiver. You can quickly swap holsters when using the Safariland QLS system. This option includes the fork only. We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount |
Which Offset length should I choose?
This refers to the length of the spacers between the long Boss plate and the Y-Plate that attaches to the holster. The 1/2" spacers are a pretty safe bet for most firearms out there to keep you within the rules for USPSA.
If you go with one of the options mounts (Tek-Lok, PLM, ELS) we would recommend choosing the 1/2" spacers to keep your holster within the rules for USPSA.
We have seen the 3/4" work well for most models, and may work with Tek-Lok & PLM mounts.
We have found the 1" spacers to work with most models but you should measure your setup to insure it falls within the USPSA rules.
You can always just buy the Spacer Hardware Kit here and try the other options.
What is the optional Baller Ball Joint?
Upgrade your Boss Holster Hanger with the new release from Shockbottle, the Boss Baller Ball Joint.
This ball joint upgrade for your Boss Hanger allows you to adjust the angle of the holster and still raise and lower it as you expect with the Boss Holster Hanger.
You can use the ball joint instead of the spacers on your current rig!
What is the optional Aluminum Thigh Pad?
Comfort and Adjustability Boss Holster Hanger Aluminum Thigh Pad features a unique design that allows you to adjust the spacing of your Boss holster hanger to your personal preference, providing maximum comfort and flexibility.

Good holster
Very adjustable for a production holster. This would also make a good limited holster as well. A little spendy, but the Cadillac version of any product usually is. Definitely worth it.

Excellent Product
Got it super quick, and quality is on point.

Well worth the investment.
I wish I bought this sooner. Like many I'm sure, I worked my way up in quality of holsters. I started with what was on the shelf in stores and finally ended up here.

Awesome. Don't bother with anything else
This is the only rig I get for USPSA. No need to look elsewhere. Just get it.

Best Holster ever.
This holster is everything I have been looking for. Its safe, fast to draw and reliable. I will only use your holster from now on. Since I started shooting IPSC in Australia I have had 3 holsters and nothing compares to yours Ben.

Very well made
Have not made it to the range yet, but dry practice has gone well. Ilike the way it mounts to the belt, no movement. Thanks for a great product.

Puts pistol EXACTLY where you want it.
Can’t buy skill, but this is one of the very few products that will actually make it easier to build it. The ability to position holster exactly where you want it not only helps with speed, but maybe more importantly allows for a more consistent draw.

The Best Rig On The Planet
This is my third rig and can not say anything bad. Each one has fit the intended gun perfectly.

Killer rig!
Best draw and most secure holster and hanger for USPSA Production in the freakin' world!
-
Solid Rig
Used it for the first time this past weekend and never had a holster feel so secure!

Good for Glocks
I ordered this for my G34 and I am completely satisfied. I can tell I draw quicker and it just feels right. Previously used a 5199 for competition, but I find this holster/hanger far superior! Be sure to check all screws, mine came assembled but the Y plate was not secure and almost suffered an equipment malfunction during its first match.
