If you reload large capacity rifle cartridges, large quantities of pistol cartridges for competition, or use "fluffy" high load density powders like IMR Trail Boss, you know how frustrating it is to have to stop frequently to fill the powder hopper on your Dillon press. Ever wish you could "Super Size" your powder hopper? Now you can! The 2X Powder Hopper Tube™ doubles the powder capacity of your Dillon Auto Powder Measure by replacing the original 7" powder hopper tube with a 14" powder hopper tube.
Fits both the Dillon Auto Powder Measure and the Dillon "Belted Magnum" Powder System!
The 2X Powder Hopper Tube™ is made from high-strength, clear, poylcarbonate tubing that will not stain or discolor from extended contact with most gunpowders.*
Just empty the powder measure, remove the two screws attaching the original powder hopper and lift off the powder hopper tube. Insert the 2X Powder Hopper Tubeâ„¢ and attach using the original screws. You even get to use your original Dillon powder measure lid.
Compatibility with Dillon Low Powder Sensor
If you use a Dillon Low Powder Sensor, it will still fit but will alarm at 50% full unless you modify it with a longer follower rod. Extending the follower rod is easy and inexpensive and instructions are included. These instructions are also available for free download from our "Tips" library for those who want to make their Low Powder Sensor adjustable to alarm at any desired powder level.

SUPER 1050 Users: Due to the location of the case feed hopper on the Super 1050, there isn't enough vertical clearance for a 14" Powder Hopper Tube. We have an alternative 11" tall Powder Hopper Tube that does fit and yields a 57% increase in powder capacity. Just select the Super 1050 version from the pop-down menu when you place your order.
Don't need to double your powder capacity but still want a stain resistant hopper tube? Just use the Super 1050 hopper tube (11") on any Dillon press. It will give you a stain resistant hopper tube, and the Precision Powder Baffle, but is only 4" taller than the original powder hopper tube.
* Staining can occur with Hodgdon TITEGROUP gunpowder. When using TITEGROUP we recommend that you drain the powder measure when not in use. You can easily drain powder using our Powder Measure Drain-N-Change Tool.

†Older Dillon powder measures with the powder hopper tube held in place by epoxy, and not by 2 screws, require alteration for the 2X Powder Hopper Tube to be installed. Such alterations may void the Dillon warrantee for your powder measure and is therefore not recommended.
