So glad to have stumbled on these here...Was having issues with my Springer 1911 loaded 9mm stove piping and some feeding issues when running it hard. Thought is was the junky stock mags, bought some top of the line tripp mags and still had a few issues at my last match. After some research I figured out the stock recoil spring on my pistol was 9lbs with a 28lb hammer spring. With this kit I am able to test and evaluate different weights with my practice and comp loads in conjunction with the hammer spring pack I also found here. Currently running a 12lb recoil and 19lb hammer spring with not a single issue so far with my practice loads. thank you guys!
