Kimber 2K11 Parts & Upgrades

The Kimber 2K11 is Kimber's double-stack 2011-pattern pistol — a competition-ready platform available in optics-ready and standard configurations for USPSA Limited Optics, Carry Optics, and Limited divisions. Ben Stoeger Pro Shop stocks magazines, basepads, and magwells specifically compatible with the Kimber 2K11 platform.

Magazines

The Kimber 2K11 has a narrower frame rail spacing than most 2011 pistols — not all standard 2011 magazines are compatible. BSPS stocks magazines verified for 2K11 compatibility:

  • Kimber OEM Factory Magazines — 10-round and 20-round factory magazines (SKU 1600083A and 1600086A). The baseline for 2K11 compatibility.
  • MBX Extreme 2K11 Magazine (24-round, 141.25mm) — MBX specifically redesigned their competition magazine body for the Kimber 2K11, narrowing the neck to fit between the 2K11 frame rails while using their XB follower and tapered tube design to achieve 24+1 capacity. The only MBX magazine specifically engineered for the 2K11.
  • Mec-Gar 22-Round 9mm Magazine — compatible with Kimber 2K11 and other Staccato-pattern 2011 pistols at 22 rounds. Note: verify post-2024 Staccato compatibility separately — this note applies to Staccato pistols, not the 2K11.

Basepads

  • Dawson Precision 2K11 Basepad — designed specifically for Kimber 2K11 pistols with 140mm magazines. Compatible with full-size 2K11 grip with or without OEM magwell. Made in Texas, USA. Keeps 20-round magazines under the USPSA 140mm gauge limit.
  • Dawson Precision Tool-less +1 Basepad for Staccato 2011 — also compatible with 2K11 Gen 2 and Gen 3 magazines in 140mm and 170mm configurations. Verify fit with your specific tube before ordering.

Magwells

  • MJD Solutions 2011 Aluminum Magwell — precision-machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum billet. Tight fit to grip body with seamless transition into magazine bore. Available in anodized aluminum and brass versions.

Important: Magazine Compatibility Note

The Kimber 2K11 has a narrower frame geometry than standard 2011 pistols. Standard STI/Staccato-pattern 2011 magazines (including most Check-Mate and Atlas-pattern tubes) may not fit the 2K11 without modification. MBX Extreme produces a 2K11-specific magazine with a narrowed tube geometry — this is the recommended competition magazine for the 2K11. Always verify magazine compatibility with your specific 2K11 variant before ordering. Contact BSPS if you're unsure.
