CZ Tactical Sport 140mm Base Pads by Springer Precision
Springer Precision CZ Tactical Sport 9/40 140mm extended capacity base pads are CNC machined from aluminum and hard anodized for a long service life. This lengthens the magazine and adds rounds to your magazine. The unique locking mechanism allows a very solid attachment with a simple backing out of the discrete set screw. They fit the USPSA 140mm magazine gauge. The unique attachment design provides a low profile, sleek design that is very stable and easy to remove. Compatible with the Czechmate.
- Weighs 1.06 Ounces
- *not recommended for use with the 26rd factory mags. You will not be at the correct length (140/170mm) and even the normal extra power springs will probably not be strong enough.
**Disclaimer: As with all competition geared changes, always make sure you test and check your gear before you take it to a competition setting. With 140mm/170mm magazine configurations especially, check the magazine in a USPSA 140mm/170mm gauge to make sure it fits. With mass produced items like magazines, sometimes they can vary slightly from one to the next, often in the magazine lips that connect with the magazine extension/basepad.
Due to design variations, Springer Precision cannot guarantee compatibility with any other manufacturer’s aftermarket magwell, unless otherwise specified. Please call us with any questions. Will fit factory magwell.
Springer Precision has indicated that some fitment maybe required on the magazine to make the basepad fit. This may mean simply sanding on the bottom of the magazine.
Due to the design of the Grams follower the slide may or may not lock back on the last round.

CZ Tactical SPORT 140MM Base Pad
These extended base pads are easily installed, look good and are effectively secured by a cap screw. I ordered the orange for my TSO and the color was the same as the factory pads. I used mine for the TSO in 40 cal and I noticed the extra power springs that come with this base pad are better suited for 9MM. They are quite a bit narrower than the factory springs and only allow +1. Reusing the factory spring actually get me to +3 (20 total). No data yet on how these shorter springs are going to work.
