This mec-gar 9mm 1911 magazine is tops for its value. Works and functionsevery time with my gun. I just dont know when plastic follower will fail. But it does its job. If it it breaks replace it, nothing is bullet proof now a days. Buying at Benstoegerproshop is a 5 star, very quick shipment despite the crisis.

Mags work great. Using in a Springfield Range Officer 1911 9mm. No feeding problems. Mags drop freely. Just as good as Wilson for half the price. Would be better if they came with a BSPS shirt in XL lol

I purchased a RIA Ultra series 1911 in 9mm and it only came with one mag. The factory 10 round mag was made by Mec Gar and I couldn't find any on the RIA web site and started looking. Bought a couple of them on here and they are just like the factory mags - except these have plastic followers, which work much better than the flat metal one on the factory mag. They have fed fine so far and the slide always locks back. I'd give it 5 stars, but I don't have a lot of rounds through them yet.
