Installation Steps
Plate to Slide
- Remove the two screws from the cover plate on the slide using a T10 driver and remove the cover plate.
- Place the adapter plate onto the slide and secure using the two supplied M3x8 screws, torquing to 12-15 INCH lb. Medium strength threadlocker is recommended.
Sight to Plate
- Place the optic onto the plate and follow the manufacturer’s mounting specifications.
* With optic installed, screw protrusion beneath the plate should not exceed 2.3mm (.090”) or damage will occur.

Buy it!!!
This plate will fit your S2, but be aware it is not a perfect fit. Yes it goes on no problem, the front serrations are off FYI. It doesn't affect the firearm in any way. What makes me happy, is that I can confirm for a fact, this fits the Vortex Defender ST!!! Awesome price and fast shipping!!!
