Atlas Gunworks was built to solve a problem: getting a competition-grade 2011 pistol used to mean waiting 12–24 months with little communication and no guarantees. Adam Nilson (USPSA competitor) and Tod West (master machinist) decided to fix that themselves — and brought in Allan Zitta, an IPSC World Champion and 30-year 1911 gunsmith, to help build it right. Today, Atlas Gunworks operates out of Northern Vermont and produces some of the most sought-after competition 2011 pistols, magazines, and parts in the USPSA and IPSC community.
The Atlas magazine line is what most BSPS customers come here for. After two years of development, Atlas solved the lockback and feeding issues that plagued earlier double-stack 1911 magazines with a redesigned, dimensionally-correct magazine body, 13-coil spring, and competition follower. Ben Stoeger Pro Shop carries the Atlas pistol lineup including the Athena, Apollo, Erebus, and NYX — spanning Carry Optics, Limited, and Open division configurations. All Atlas pistols are built to order in Vermont with DLC or two-tone finishes, optics-ready slides, and tactical magwells. Contact BSPS for current availability and lead times.
Beyond magazines and pistols, BSPS stocks Atlas triggers, mag capacity limiters, and other Atlas-branded components. Whether you're building out a competition 2011 or maintaining an existing Atlas pistol, we carry the Atlas parts you need in stock and ready to ship.
