The DOGTAG is a precision-machined optic mounting plate built from 7075 hard-anodized aluminum with features no factory plate or generic aftermarket plate offers: a gas-deflection table that reduces carbon buildup on your optic lens by up to 75%, recoil lugs that prevent the optic from shifting left or right, and tighter tolerances than factory-provided plates to eliminate zero shift under recoil.
What Makes the DOGTAG Different
- Gas deflection table — front-facing angled surface deflects gas and carbon away from the optic glass. Especially noticeable when running suppressed. Reduces carbon buildup on the lens by up to 75% compared to standard plates.
- Zero-shift prevention — tighter fit between plate and slide reduces the gap that allows optics to move under recoil. Once zeroed, it stays zeroed.
- Recoil lugs — machined into the plate body to prevent lateral optic movement and twisting.
