Works great.
After giving up the search for an external battery pack I found this. Since my F150 has USB ports I figured if a sudden death occurs at the range I can get enough charge using my truck to save the range session. My 7000 shows full charge for 30 minutes, half charge for weeks and weeks followed by sudden death at inopportune times.
