These magazines are great for shooting sports because they're cheap, hold up well to being tossed in the dirt, rocks, and who knows what that's on the ground at our respective ranges. However my last match taught me a valuable lesson with these magazines. Get. New. Base pads! Coming into the final position with my reload, the base came off and rained bullets all over the ground to force another reload. Didn't completely ruin my time or HF but certainly wasn't helpful. Everyone thought it was funny including myself, but definitely a shock. All the parts are good, I just pushed too hard when inserting it which ripped the base off. Several of the other competitors with cz's all told me that it's because of the plastic base pads and to get some metal replacement pads from certain other sellers. Either way great mags, just replace the base pads!

I was skeptical but the coating works great. I like these better than the nickel ones, the nickels can bind in my kydex mag pouches whereas these AFC ones never do. These are the only mags I run.

Build quality looks very good. Works great but it is a little bit slow coming out of the gun when released compared to the stock magazines that come with the gun.
