Our hammer pin pin is made from 416 stainless steel and heat treated to Rockwell 40.

The factory hammer pin pin soft and sometimes difficult to take out when disassembling the hammer. Our hammer pin pin has a "nipple" which makes it easier to get underneath the pin when pushing it out. Also, it won't break or bend like the factory hammer pin pin may do if it gets stuck.
