This base pad allows the magazine to be disassembled in seconds with one hand and no tools. You don't have to worry about losing small parts or specialty tools to disassemble it. Feel free to drop mags equipped with this base pad in any shooting environment. They don't crack when dropped on concrete or rocks and they don't have moving parts to get jammed up with dirt and debris.

The new TTI base pads have been redesigned with a wider notch to fit onto all the magazines without having to grind down the tubes bottom lips like in the past.

*Due to the variances in mag tube dimensions from different companies and even different generations of mags from the same company, the base pad may require minor fitting to the tube and the back of the lips may need the sharp edges buffed down so the mag will fit the gauge.
