CZ Custom offers optic mounting plates for the Shadow 2 Optics Ready slide and related CZ OR platforms. Their RDS plate system is specifically referenced in the competition community as providing a lower optic mounting height than dovetail alternatives, giving a near-cowitness with factory sights. The CZ Custom extended firing pin is one of the most common first upgrades for competition CZ pistols — especially when running reduced power hammer springs (CGW HS-12000 or similar). The longer firing pin ensures reliable ignition with harder primers and lighter hammer springs, preventing light strikes under match conditions. Compatible with CZ Shadow 2, Shadow 1, SP-01, and CZ 75B.
