We recommend measuring the spacing of the gun to the belt to ensure it falls within the rules of the sport and division.

We have found the standard spacers (1/2") will fall within the spacing rules so long as you are using the standard belt mount. If you want to use the Comp-Tac PLM or the Blade-Tech Tek-Lok you should select the 1/4" Spacers

IMPORTANT: How to select the correct belt size:

Option 1:
If you do not wish to measure your waist, and choose to go off your US Jeans size, then order a belt two sizes larger than your Jeans size tag.
So if your US Jeans state size 36 waist, order our belt in size 40.

Option 2 (recommended!):
1. Measure you actual waist circumference at the height where you plan to wear your belt.
2. Convert your measurements into Inches (1inch = 2.54cm)
3. Order the belt size which matches your measurement. Round upwards: if you measured 39”, order a belt size 40”.

NOTE: All belt systems include both inner and outer belts, as well as a rubberized Security loop.

Buyers may exchange the belt for a different sizes but the buyer is responsible for shipping both ways.

CZ Tactical Sport option is not for the Orange Model or TS2

What are the differences in the Belt Mount Options?

We offer a few options for belt mounts on the Boss holster. The standard aluminum belt plate will come with all of the holsters regardless if you choose one of the options mounts. Something to consider if you go with a non-standard belt mount you may want to go with a shorter Offset Spacer like the 1/4" to stay withing the USPSA rules.

The Boss Standard Belt Mount is included with all orders.

This belt plate is cut for a standard 1.5" competition belt (DAA, CR Speed, Ghost).

The spacing between the screws will accommodate a 1.75" belt.

boss-tek-lok-medium.png

The Blade-Tech Tek-Lok Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option.

These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount.

The Comp-Tac PLM Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option.

These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount

boss-qls-medium.png

The Safariland QLS Belt Mount work with the QLS Receiver.

You can quickly swap holsters when using the Safariland QLS system. This option includes the fork only.

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount

Which Offset length should I choose?

This refers to the length of the spacers between the long Boss plate and the Y-Plate that attaches to the holster. The 1/2" spacers are a pretty safe bet for most firearms out there to keep you within the rules for USPSA.

If you go with one of the options mounts (Tek-Lok, PLM, ELS) we would recommend choosing the 1/2" spacers to keep your holster within the rules for USPSA.

We have seen the 3/4" work well for most models, and may work with Tek-Lok & PLM mounts.

We have found the 1" spacers to work with most models but you should measure your setup to insure it falls within the USPSA rules.

You can always just buy the Spacer Hardware Kit here and try the other options.

Boss holster is a great upgrade from the standard Blade Tech DOH.

Posted by Scott Wood on Jul 31st 2017

Purchased 2 of these as our first USPSA rigs for my wife and me. I saw the BOSS holster on a YouTube and thought it would be a big improvement on the Blade Tech DOH and I was right. The aluminum drop holder is very well made, adjustable, and rigid. The AA belt is very stiff which works well. The BOSS attachment to the belt with four screws is simple and secure. Once in place I used Loctite on the screws. The Ghost 360 mag pouches hold my Glock and wife's XDM magazines well with the stiffer spring. Ghost includes a second pouch for the bullets out version and 4 springs which gives lots of options. The pouches are well made and have worked well in competition. We have been very happy with all of the products. When measuring the belt, I followed their directions to the letter and the lengths were just right. Ben Stoeger has great customer service help by phone too; call them if you have questions.

    Instantly prepared!

New IPSC shooter here (Canada). With 1 purchase I have a baller setup that allows me to jump right in. Belt is solid, mag pouches easy to hang and adjust, hanger has many custom adjustments, holster fits good (Glock 17). Too easy. Highly recommended.

    Great setup

If your looking at this gear then your probably thinking of getting serious about USPSA and noticed that everybody at the club is running all of this gear or parts of it. Especially the guys who are way better than you. That's because this gear works, buy it.

    Great rig!

Posted by Timothy Rand on Apr 27th 2017

I'm new to competitive shooting and I was completely overwhelmed by what to buy to hold my gun and mags. The price on this was a little steep, but I'm really happy with it! It took me a while to get it set up for me, but now its very secure, convenient (the double belt is awesome, no more threading holster and mag carriers around belt loops), and my draw is significantly faster than previous holsters since I've moved it a little lower and it sits away from the body. I really couldn't be happier!

    complete solution

Posted by Tim on Mar 14th 2017

as a Newcomer to the sport, it was very convenient and important to find a complete package from a trusted source. My head was spinning trying to figure out what I need, and if I would be within guidelines of gaming rules. Not with this bundle! As far as sizing goes, i normally wear 30W jeans/slacks, and the 32" belt (with DOH and mag pouches) fits with roughly 3-4" of overlap...perfect fit. Belt is very rigid, yet comfortable. No pressure points, wven on my slight frame. The BOSS DOH bracket and tek lok holster system works flawlessly. I was able to adjust it to my liking, and on my short torso, I can drop it in the lowest position and still have the butt of the pistol sit flush with the top of the beltline. As far as the 2" rule is concerned, as Ben advises, get the short spacers if using Tek Lok...I do not see issues with spacing. Also, I'm using a VP9 tactical, this requires a slight modification of the bladetech holster to accompdate the threaded barrel. No biggie, this took about 10 mins to modify with a Dremel. Very satisfied and can't wait for the weather to clear so i can get on the range.

    'Merica - starter edition

    Posted by K.Faircloth on Jan 11th 2017

Bought this set up for my first Uspsa match. The belt is awesome. This belt is super ridgid and works with you. Magazine pouches are great too. But the best thing about the kit is the hanger and holster. It is the smoothest and most adjustable holster I have ever used. Very glad I paid the money for this instead of piecing something together. If I ever get as good enough to deserve this equipment I'll be a bad bad man.

this is the rig you want!

Posted by Gene on Dec 14th 2016

Friends recommended this is the rig you want. and they were correct! the DAA belt is the PREMIUM belt DAA offers. the Bladetech holster I knew would be good from past IDPA use. the GHOST mag pouches are unique and offer incredible flexibility. my first use was in a match and it was a game changer.

    Awesome Setup!

Posted by David on Nov 10th 2016

Great product. No complaints at all. Mag pouches secure magazines, belt is very rigid and offers great support and the holster/hanger are top notch. Everything fastens nicely to the belt and stays where you put it.

Rock Solid, and a sexy piece of gear.

Posted by MemphisMechanic on Jun 2nd 2016

Coming from a background where I hopped between IDPA and USPSA, I've been running a Comp-Tac belt holster for years. Now that I'm firmly in the USPSA camp, I'm rocking one of these. It's solid as a rock, easy to adjust to meet Production rules and if you loctite the screws like the directions suggest, will stay locked to your outer belt permanently.

    Best competition rig so far

Posted by Ryan Alamo Cotto (@Pro2ndamendment) on Apr 7th 2016

I got my rig for production, but before I ordered I call in to ask which holster should I get if I would be running a Glock 19, Glock 17 or a Glock 34 and I was told to go with Glock 34 holster to fit all my needs. The mag pouches are amazing I got them all in red. Lastly, the belt I got it in black 36" and I really wish I would have gone 38" just so I could have had a it more room to play with. I measure my waist and I was 36" so if you are too and you want a little more room to play with in my personal opinion I would say to go with a 38". Overall, I believe this is a great investment if you are doing USPSA or any other competition.
