Floyd's Custom Shop — Magwells & Magazine Extensions

Floyd's Custom Shop makes competition magwells and magazine extensions for the most popular striker-fired competition pistols — S&W M&P 2.0, Walther PDP, Springfield Echelon, and Glock. Made in the USA from 6061 aluminum with a hard anodized finish, Floyd's products are designed as a matched system: the magwell and magazine extensions are engineered to work together. For best results, run Floyd's magwell with Floyd's extensions.

Important: Floyd's Products Are a Matched System

Floyd's magwells are designed specifically to work with Floyd's magazine extensions — and vice versa. Do not use Floyd's extensions with competitor factory magwells, and do not use competitor extensions with Floyd's magwells without verifying fitment. Over-insertion of the magazine without the correct Floyd's magwell can damage your ejector. Stock magazine base plates are not compatible with Floyd's extensions.

S&W M&P 2.0

Floyd's largest platform. Available in multiple configurations:

  • Competition Magwell 2.0 (Polymer Frame) — aluminum competition magwell for M&P 2.0 Full Size polymer frame. Hard anodized black. Designed for use with Floyd's +6 extensions.
  • Competition Magwell 2.0 (Metal Frame / Competitor) — for the M&P 2.0 Full Size Metal Frame only. Does not fit polymer frame.
  • Brass Competition Magwell — available in limited drops; adds forward weight for recoil management. Polymer and metal frame versions available.
  • EDC Full-Size Magwell — lower-profile magwell for carry applications
  • +6 Round Mag Extension — the primary competition extension for M&P Full Size magazines
  • +2 Round Mag Extension — for IDPA or division-limited capacity setups

Note: M&P extensions do not work on factory 10-round magazines.

Walther PDP

  • Walther PDP Full Size Magwell — competition magwell for PDP Full Size
  • +4 Round Mag Extension — compatible with Floyd's PDP magwell only; over-insertion risk without magwell

Springfield Echelon

  • Springfield Echelon Magwell — fits all Echelon backstrap sizes (Small, Medium, Large). Medium is the standard Full Size factory configuration; Small is compact. Does not work with factory magazine base plates.

Glock

  • +2 Mag Extension for Glock 17/19 — aluminum basepad extension for Glock 17 and 19

Material & Finish Notes

All Floyd's products are machined from 6061 aluminum with a hard anodized finish. Important care notes:

  • Hard anodized parts will take damage if dropped repeatedly on concrete — they are aluminum, not steel
  • When installing extensions, only tighten back plates until secure — overtightening can crack the plate
  • Parts are anodized in batches — slight shade variations between batches are normal
  • Brass magwells are available in limited drops — not always in stock
