Walther PDP 140mm +3 Basepad by Springer Precision
Springer Precision 140mm magazine extensions for the Walther PDP Fullsize 9mm are CNC-machined from aluminum and hard-anodized for long service life. This lengthens the magazine and adds rounds to your magazine. The unique locking mechanism provides a very solid attachment, with simple backing out via the discrete set screw. They fit the USPSA 140mm magazine gauge. The unique attachment design provides a low-profile, sleek design that is very stable and easy to remove. Adds an additional 3 rounds. Now fits PDP Pro SD Magwell.
Magazine Spring & Follower Options
This Springer Precision Walther PDP 140mm +3 Basepad is available with several spring and follower options depending on your intended setup. Springer Precision recommends using an extra-power magazine spring with this extension because factory springs can be inconsistent and unreliable on magazine extensions.
Want to retain slide lock? Select the Springer Precision Extra Power Magazine Spring and reuse your factory Walther follower. This is the recommended setup for customers who want to retain last-round slide lock.
Important: The MBX Ultra Max competition spring and follower kit is designed to maximize usable magazine capacity and does not retain last-round slide lock.
- No Spring: Basepad only. This option does not include a replacement magazine spring. Because factory magazine spring reliability varies with extended basepads, it is recommended to use an extra power spring with this extension.

**Disclaimer: As with all competition-gear changes, always make sure you test and check your gear before you take it to a competition setting. With 140mm/170mm magazine configurations, especially, check the magazine in a USPSA 140mm/170mm gauge to make sure it fits. With mass-produced items like magazines, sometimes they can vary slightly from one to the next, often in the magazine lips that connect with the magazine extension/basepad.

SP Walther Extended Basepads
The Walther 140mm basepads from Springer Precisions are my favorite I have used. The Taran Tactical ones are great for the Glock, but for the Walther Q5 the Springer Precision version is much better in feel, aesthetics and functionality. Highly recommended.
