The BOSS Dropped & Offset DOH Holster by Ben Stoeger Pro Shop

This holster is called the BOSS for a reason. Here at the Pro Shop, we get pissed off if our stuff isn't quite right. Every other holster on the market has some problem that we found annoying. So we made our own. BOOM.

This set includes the BOSS DOH holster hanger. This hanger is stable yet adjustable. It holds the gun in USPSA legal position and can be mounted higher in order to be Single Stack legal.

This holster also comes with thumb screws as standard.

You can use the Comp-Tac PLM, Blade-Tech Tek-Lok, Safriland ELS, QLS, or the standard BOSS belt mount.

Holster Only!

CZ Tactical Sport option is not for the Orange Model

What are the differences in the Belt Mount Options?

We offer a few options for belt mounts on the Boss holster. The standard aluminum belt plate will come with all of the holsters regardless if you choose one of the options mounts. Something to consider if you go with a non-standard belt mount you may want to go with a shorter Offset Spacer like the 1/4" to stay withing the USPSA rules.

The Boss Standard Belt Mount is included with all orders.

This belt plate is cut for a standard 1.5" competition belt (DAA, CR Speed, Ghost).

The spacing between the screws will accommodate a 1.75" belt.

The Blade-Tech Tek-Lok Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option.

These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount.

The Comp-Tac PLM Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option.

These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount

The Safariland QLS Belt Mount work with the QLS Receiver.

You can quickly swap holsters when using the Safariland QLS system. This option includes the fork only.

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount

Which Offset length should I choose?

This refers to the length of the spacers between the long Boss plate and the Y-Plate that attaches to the holster. The 1/2" spacers are a pretty safe bet for most firearms out there to keep you within the rules for USPSA.

If you go with one of the options mounts (Tek-Lok, PLM, ELS) we would recommend choosing the 1/2" spacers to keep your holster within the rules for USPSA.

We have seen the 3/4" work well for most models, and may work with Tek-Lok & PLM mounts.

We have found the 1" spacers to work with most models but you should measure your setup to insure it falls within the USPSA rules.

You can always just buy the Spacer Hardware Kit here and try the other options.

Really high quality item. I haven't seen anything of this standard anywhere and I can't wait to test it out at the next match. DVC

    Best hanger on the market

Posted by John on Aug 18th 2017

Purchased this for my new SP-01, to replace the G-code I was using with my USP. The Blade-Tech holster body is a competition staple, but the addition of the thumb screws makes dialing in your preferred level of retention a snap. The hanger is the real star here. Once you get it screwed on to your belt, it doesn't move. There's zero flex or play, and it makes draws super smooth. This is far and away the best holster option for Production.

    Browning Hi-Power

Posted by Gerard on Aug 4th 2017

Ordered the Boss Offset/Dropped Blade Tech holster & hanger for my Hi-Power. Could only find two companies who carry a competition holster for the Hi-Power. Received the products within a week and am very satisfied so far. The holster is a somewhat loose fit but this gun really limits your choices. Stoeger does not make the holster by the way, it's a Blade Tech. Hanger is well built and designed.

    Boss Doh

This is a great holster and components! However the mounting bracket does not allow for a 1.75 inch belt. It would be 5 stars if the bracket had flexibility for belt width.

The BOSS DOH is great. Way tougher than the plastic drop hangers from other companies. I'd recommend it

    Rock solid systems

Posted by Unknown on May 8th 2017

I purchased this mount and bladetech holster body for USPSA production. Holster mount is extremely rigid with endless options for adjustment. The bladetech holster body is pretty standard for most competitors and performs very well. The adjustable thumb screws add to the package for on the fly retention adjustment. I will be purchasing this system for replacement of all my competition rigs. I think the price is extremely fair given the value of what's included. I enjoy purchasing from Ben Stoeger Pro Shop, I am native Texan.

    My second "Boss hanger"

Posted by Skeezix on May 6th 2017

I already have one set-up for my Production pistol. When I decided to shoot Limited I knew I had to have another for that set-up. I got the whole package so I could have a dedicated belt for each division. The "Boss" really is the greatest. I love the amount of adjustability. Very high quality.

    Great Product

Posted by Unknown on Apr 11th 2017

I purchased this for my CZ 75. It was absolutely worth it. In one seasion of use I was able to take 0.50 seconds off of my draw and it simply never moves once you mount it. I would not hesitate to recommend it. (Blade Tec pouch)

    Should've switched sooner

Posted by Unknown on Mar 23rd 2017

Been using a gamer go-fast holster with my limited 2011 and have never been happy with the consistency of my grip-especially when drawing on the move. So I decided to switch to a more stable platform and there was really only 1 obvious choice. It was shipped and at my house within 3 days and with the y adapter already attached to the holster. All I had to mount it to my belt (which it's admittedly tough to get the screws started) and find the sweet spot. Even with only a week of dry fire, I'm already much more consistent and it'll only keep getting better. The only regret I have is not making the switch sooner! If you're tired of your gat never being in the same spot when you reach for it, I highly recommend switching!
