Canik Rival (Polymer & Steel) Plus 4 Magazine Extension by Henning Group
Our extended base pads are legal for USPSA Limited and Open competitions. Attached to the factory magazines they extend the magazine to 141.25mm length (5.56"). Whether you want to be competitive or not, these pads will extend the capacity of your Canik Rival magazines.
Our extensions are EASY to take on and off with our spring-loaded steel detent. It locks the extension onto the magazine tube very tight and securely.
Fits both Steel and Poly models.
Just adding this magazine extension to the factory Canik Rival magazine, it will increase the capacity from 18 to 22 rounds, but the factory spring is recommended to be replaced with an aftermarket follower kit. You can use the MBX aftermarket follower kits to get 24 +1.
Magazine Spring & Follower Options
This Henning Canik Rival Polymer/Steel +4 Magazine Extension can be used with the factory magazine spring and follower or paired with an optional competition spring and follower kit for increased capacity.
Factory Spring & Follower: Henning has confirmed that the factory spring and follower function properly with this basepad. No extra power spring is required. This is the recommended setup for customers who want to retain the factory follower and last-round slide lock.
Important: The MBX and CSRG competition spring and follower kits are designed to maximize usable magazine capacity and typically do not retain last-round slide lock.
- No Spring: Basepad only. Reuse your factory Canik magazine spring and follower. Henning has confirmed the factory spring and follower function properly with this extension.
