CZ Shadow 2 Magazine Extension by Henning
Get more rounds on the belt without giving up reliability. The Henning +5/6 basepad is a CNC-machined extension for Mec-Gar CZ-75 pattern magazines that takes a factory 17-round Shadow 2 or SP-01 mag up to 21–22 rounds on the stock follower and spring, 23+1 with a Grams Engineering kit, or 24+1 with an MBX Ultra Max kit. Gauged to the USPSA 141.25mm limit, it's ready for Carry Optics and Limited, with numbering dots on the base, a side cutout for a positive grab, and a reinforced wall that stops over-insertion.
Important: Not Compatible with Magwells
This version of the Henning +5/6 basepad is not designed for use with a magwell. If your CZ Shadow 2 is equipped with a magwell, you will need the magwell-compatible version of this basepad.

Magazine Spring & Follower Options
This Henning CZ Shadow 2 / SP-01 +5/6 Basepad is available with several spring and follower options depending on your intended setup. An extra power magazine spring is recommended when using this extended basepad.
Want to retain slide lock? Select the Henning Extra Power Magazine Spring and reuse your factory follower. This is the recommended setup for customers who want to retain last-round slide lock.
Important: The Grams, MBX, and CSRG competition spring and follower kits are designed to maximize usable magazine capacity and do not retain last-round slide lock.
- No Spring: Basepad only. This option does not include a replacement magazine spring. An extra power spring is recommended when using this extension.

Works with CZ-Parts.com mag funnel
These are great basepads. the machining is flawless and easy to install. I finally received my CZ-parts mag funnel and was able to confirm that these basepads work without issue. I did get the Grams followers and have had no feed issues.

My first ext basepads so not much to compare to. seems quality machining. I got the option with mag springs as well. The stock mags from the SP-01 will fit one more round, but they wont fee as good, so mecgar mags GTG.

High quality
It was a bit more expensive with the springs but worth it. It was very nicely made. I have some others with cheap set screws. These have a spring catch.

Fantastic basepads
These are great for adding +4 9mm. Look good, quality is spot on. They also work perfect with the CZ factory nickle mags. Would buy again.

Works great
This extension and the spring follower kit works great. Got 23 rounds in my S2 mags. They function perfectly. The slide will still lock back when empty. And the extension is east to remove with no tools.
