The Henning Group Magazine Extension Kit for Walther PDP and PDP Steel Frame increases magazine capacity from 18 to 22 rounds! 24 rounds with the MBX or CSRG spring and follower.
The design of our extension is a true extension of the internal shape of the factory magazine tube. Combined with a stainless steel, 13.5-coil magazine spring, it is a proven and reliable solution. Our Walther PDP magazine extension is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. This extension fits the USPSA 141.25mm gauge, and is legal for Carry optics, Limited Optics, Limited & Open divisions in USPSA.
Our latest design includes numbering dots, serrations for light side grab and a reinforced wall thickness, and it is cut for use in the PDP Steel Frame.
We have three options for springs:
A. Henning Group spring (using factory follower). Installed on a 18 round mag, our spring ensures proper function.
B. MBX Follower and Spring. Increases capacity from 18 to 24 + 1. No Lock Back!
C. CSRG Follower and Spring. Increases capacity from 18 to 24 + 1. No Lock Back!
This extension DOES NOT work with the factory PDP or PDP Steel magwell. We recommend the Taylor Freelance magwell.
MBX and CSRG Aftermarket Follower Kits do NOT LOCK slide back on empty.
This extension works for both the Polymer and Steel models.
The PDP compact uses a PPQ M2 pattern magazine. It is not compatible with the full size magazines and extensions.
Magazine Spring & Follower Options
This Henning Walther PDP Steel/Polymer +4 Magazine Extension is available with several spring and follower options depending on your intended setup. An extra power magazine spring is recommended when using this extended basepad.
Want to retain slide lock? Select the Henning Extra Power Magazine Spring and reuse your factory Walther follower. This is the recommended setup for customers who want to retain last-round slide lock.
Important: The MBX and CSRG competition spring and follower kits are designed to maximize usable magazine capacity and do not retain last-round slide lock.
- No Spring: Basepad only. This option does not include a replacement magazine spring. An extra power spring is recommended when using this extension.
