This is just the holster hanger. Supply your own pouch. This is compatible with Blade Tech, GX Holster, LS Holsters, Weber Tactical and Comp Tac stuff.

What are the differences in the Belt Mount Options?

What are the differences in the Belt Mount Options?

We offer a few options for belt mounts on the Boss holster. The standard aluminum belt plate will come with all of the holsters regardless if you choose one of the options mounts. Something to consider if you go with a non-standard belt mount you may want to go with a shorter Offset Spacer like the 1/4" to stay withing the USPSA rules.

The Boss Standard Belt Mount is included with all orders.

This belt plate is cut for a standard 1.5" competition belt (DAA, CR Speed, Ghost).

The spacing between the screws will accommodate a 1.75" belt.

boss-tek-lok-medium.png

The Blade-Tech Tek-Lok Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option.

These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount.

The Comp-Tac PLM Belt Mount is a great Quick Detach option.

These mounts are adjustable and can accommodate 1.25"-2" belts

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount

boss-qls-medium.png

The Safariland QLS Belt Mount work with the QLS Receiver.

You can quickly swap holsters when using the Safariland QLS system. This option includes the fork only.

We generally recommend going with the 1/4" offset spacer option with this mount

Which Offset length should I choose?

This refers to the length of the spacers between the long Boss plate and the Y-Plate that attaches to the holster. The 1/2" spacers are a pretty safe bet for most firearms out there to keep you within the rules for USPSA.

If you go with one of the options mounts (Tek-Lok, PLM, ELS) we would recommend choosing the 1/2" spacers to keep your holster within the rules for USPSA.

We have seen the 3/4" work well for most models, and may work with Tek-Lok & PLM mounts.

We have found the 1" spacers to work with most models but you should measure your setup to insure it falls within the USPSA rules.

You can always just buy the Spacer Hardware Kit here and try the other options.

How to do mount a Safariland QLS Fork or Receiver?

The versatile Boss Holster Hanger is designed to offer multiple mounting options for the Safariland QLS system. It facilitates the attachment of the Safariland QLS Fork to the long plate that is included in the kit, thereby eliminating the need for any additional parts or unique configurations.

For those seeking a flexible mounting solution that allows for easy swapping of holsters while keeping the hanger firmly attached to your belt, we offer the Safariland Y-Plate option. With this, you can conveniently mount the Safariland QLS Receiver to the Y-Plate, as demonstrated in the photographs below.

This powerful combination of utility and adaptability makes the Boss Holster Hanger an essential tool for enhancing your holster mounting experience.

    Great. Holster Hanger for USPSA

Posted by TomK on Oct 17th 2018

I bought the Ben Stoeger BOSS hanger mount system and I love it! I own the blade tech, comptac, and safariland but their drops are not as rigid or work as well as Stoeger`s. If you do not have a holster.....the price for the complete rig is well worth the cost. My only complaint is that adding the drop has not made me as fast or accurate as Ben.....damit! Tk

    Draw Heaven!

Posted by Janet Lehman on Oct 16th 2018

I now have four of these for any holster I might use in competition. They hold the gun rigidly in the right place and don't move while you're drawing. Makes for the smoothest, fastest draw ever. Loooove them!!!

    Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Brando on Oct 15th 2018

My belt set-up is all blade-tech, and a few months ago I added their DOH and it was ok. I liked the location of holster, but it wasn’t very stable, and my thumb would hit the hanger. Decided to change it to the BOSS and that was the best decision. Seriously surprised how well the holster is held in place, and I love that the tilt is adjustable forward/rear. Really wish I did my homework a few months ago and got this from the start. Can’t go wrong with this BOSS DOH!!!!!!

    The best

I had been using a similar product but wanted to try this product. This product is much much better. It is more solid once all the fasteners are secured and even works for single stack. I am going to get one more to convert the other belt set up.

    Holster Body Mount

Posted by Barry Whaley on Sep 17th 2018

Without a doubt the best system I’ve used, and I’ve tried many with varying results and a lot of disappointment. This system keeps the muzzle away from your body, provides a great deal of adjustment regarding angle and drop of the holster in relationship to your body. I won’t be looking for another system I’ve found what I’ve been looking for.

    Simple Design Works Best

Posted by Unknown on Aug 30th 2018

The individual parts of the hanger are nicely made, the sum of all parts when put together is even better. It provides flexibility in customizing how your holster hangs in a way which best fit you. Shipping was extremely fast, even for order placed from Canada. Thanks for making such a nice product available to customers in Canada.

    Worth it

Well worth the price. Took my holster to the next level and is incredibly sturdy. Most drop downs get a little shakey but my gun comes out clean every draw with no wiggle.

5 stars functionality, 3 stars execution

Posted by Unknown on Jul 31st 2018

The mount is rock solid. I have it mounted to an ELS belt (yes, you have to massage the plate a little to get it to fit around a 1.75" belt) and use a Safariland holster. The thin hanger/0.5" offset allows plenty of room between the gun and the belt for my thumb to get a good firing grip. Two issues: 1) the holster screws were too long. Not a huge deal, since having a full ELS setup I have a big ziplock full of assorted fasteners. Still, you'd expect the right screws if you buy the Safariland adapter. 2) the red anodizing had a HUGE gouge in it. I managed to kind of hide it, and since I treat my competition gear like tools, it doesn't bother me that much, but at $50, the thing should be pristine when it arrives. This defect was definitely present before shipment. All and all a good product.

Competition changer right here. Fit and finish is top notch. Mount is very sturdy and makes the holster more stable. Highly recommend.

Liked the first one so well I bought another one.

Pretty simple device. Take your xyz holster, bolt it to the Y shaped drop then bolt the rest of it together. May take some adjusting to get it just right and on thicker two layer belts the top bracket seems a little thin, but torque it down and it's not moving a millimeter.

    Boss Hanger

It came quickly and was exactly as expected. Substantially stiffer than the last 2 options I have been. Super easy to set up and adjust to you. High value and well worth the dough
